Forming a group of fiber artists in the New England area: artists working in silk

painting, shibori, batik and related forms of expression.

We held our initial meeting in May in Springfield, MA to organize and start planning what we hope will be 3 or 4 meetings a year. The meetings will be focused on a technique or new process and are planned to include demonstrations and/or hands on participation.

Right now we are building an e-mail list for those who may be interested in our meetings. Our goals include inviting noted fiber artists to run workshops and at some time in the future to show our work in gallery space. If you would like to contact me for more information, please respond to: email
